Superchips Announces Additional 2009 Dodge Ram 5.7L HEMI Vehicle Coverage

The Dodge Gas Flashpaq (part no. 3865) and Dodge Cortex (part no. 3950) deliver Superchips tuning for impressive horsepower and torque to the wheels, but it’s the improved drivability and performance that have owners excited.

The enthusiast loved HEMI is now even more exciting with three available performance tunes and a towing tune file for heavy load applications. The HEMI tuning includes many advanced features while also working out of the box with most cold-air intakes and cat-back free-flowing exhaust systems.

The performance tune provides enhanced throttle response and shift adjustments, optimized shift firmness, raise rev limiter and noticeable drivability improvements. The gains are substantial with the Superchips 93-Octane performance tune serving up to 25 max horsepower and 30 lb-ft of max torque when equipped. The trucks gain up to 20 max horsepower and 28 lb-ft of max torque when equipped with Superchips 91-Octane performance tune.

Advanced features include the ability to calibrate for tire heights from 22.50” – 42.00”, calibrate for axle and transfer case gears from 1.00 – 10.00, raise the speed and rev limiter, and adjust the cooling fan settings. Coming soon will be the ability manually set shift schedules and other transmission parameters with the Superchips Advanced Transmission Tuning app.

Trusted Performance releases a full flow fuel kit for 6.0 Power Strokes

Have a tuner on your truck? Worried about replacing expensive injectors? Well, Trusted Performance has just what you need. Trusted Performances Stage I and Stage II regulated return fuel system for 2003 to 2007 6.0 Power Stroke engines. The Trusted Performance Stage I fuel kit replaces the small restrictive fuel lines with lines that are 300% larger. So, in times of high fuel demand (like pulling a hill or passing another vehicle), the injectors have enough fuel and dont run dry.

In addition to replacing the inlet lines with larger lines, the Stage II fuel kit is a full flow return system. Meaning the fuel no longer dead ends in the back of the cylinder heads; which can cause possible damage to the back injectors from lack of fuel, but instead returns to an external adjustable regulator. So, 100% of the fuel pumped flows through the heads. This ensures the injectors will never run dry and, also, alleviates any possibilities of air pockets in the heads.

This increased flow from the stage I and II kits keep the injectors from running dry and eventually failing. The MSRP is $931.24 and the kit is a direct bolt in. No fabrication and no worries.
