Granatelli Motor Sports introduces an intercooled single turbocharger system for 2005-08 Ford Mustang GTs
Utilizing the latest technology, the Granatelli system promises zero turbo lag with full boost at 2600 rpm more power and lower discharge temperatures than any competitive roots or centrifugal supercharger system on the market. Using 91 octane gasoline and a Mustang Chassis Dyno, the system generated an impressive 157HP gain at 8psi, an even more impressive 244HP gain at 10psi and an amazing 319HP gain at 12psi. The system (P/N GM-STK0507) bolts on in approximately 10 hours or less and includes a 76MM Turbonetics turbo, Tial waste gate, Granatelli compressor bypass valve, stainless steel exhaust components from headers to the turbo, 2.5" down pipe with 3" as an option, high flow twin cat system, aluminized tubing from turbo to intercooler and from intercooler to throttle body, and twin Spearco 221 intercooler cores.
